As we wrap up our 70th year of service, Noble stands at a pivotal point between our rich history & a future filled with promise. Since the opening of the first Noble School in 1953, we have been guided by the principles of inclusion, empowerment & community: principles that have allowed us to touch the lives of tens of thousands of children, adults & families over the decades.
A Journey of Impact
Our story began with a bold idea from a group of parents: that children with disabilities deserved an education, opportunities & respect. From that first brick building at 617 E. North Street, we’ve achieved so much as we worked to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. We expanded from a school to offering early intervention therapies for babies & toddlers to employment supports for adults with disabilities–always with an eye toward empowering people to achieve a life of dreams & independence.
In the past fiscal year alone, we have touched the lives of 4,000+ people through our core services & ancillary supports. We take immense pride in the fact that over 1,800 babies & toddlers developed new skills through our early intervention services, we’ve experienced exponential growth in summer day camps & hundreds of adults are pursuing meaningful careers in the community.
A Celebration of Our Past & Future
We capped off our 70th year of service at the very location where Noble first opened its doors to the community in 1953, now Saint Joseph Hall. This celebration honored our roots and shared our excitement for what lies ahead. As we look back at the journey that has brought us to this point, we are eager to embark on the next phase of our mission.

As we step into our next season of service, we do so with a strong sense of purpose & a clear vision for the future. We are committed to expanding our impact, deepening our partnerships & continuing to innovate in the ways we support individuals with disabilities.
