Home is more than just a place to live—it reflects who we are & how we choose to live our lives. At Noble, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to create a home that fits their needs & fosters their dreams of living as independently as possible. That’s why our Community Living service provides the personalized support for individuals with disabilities to thrive while maintaining their independence.
What is Community Living?
Unlike traditional group homes, Noble’s Community Living service empowers individuals to choose where they live & who they live with—typically in an apartment or home shared with one or two roommates. We provide dedicated staffing & personalized support necessary to ensure individuals can manage their daily lives while maintaining their independence.
Tailored Support for Every Individual
Our person-centered approach ensures that each person receives the right level of support to match their unique needs & goals. Whether someone requires assistance with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, or transportation, our team is here to help while encouraging self-sufficiency & community integration.
Community Living services may include:
- Assistance with personal care
- Grocery shopping & meal preparation
- Medication reminders & administration
- Support in making sure the bills are paid
- Transportation to medical appointments, work & social activities
- Advocacy & guidance in accessing community resources
- Opportunities for social & recreational activities
- 24-hour-a-day support or staffing for just a few hours a day, depending on needs
- Services provided in an individual’s chosen home or within their family’s home
A Place to Call Home: A Different Approach to Supported Living
At Noble, we recognize that everyone’s needs are different. That’s why our approach to supported independent living is rooted in choice, dignity & inclusion. Unlike other providers, we do not own or operate group homes. Instead, we empower individuals to select their own place to live & determine their living arrangements. Our role is to provide reliable, caring staff to support their journey toward greater independence.
Each person in our program has their own room & personal space, ensuring privacy & comfort. Noble staff members can even assist in finding compatible housemates to create a supportive & harmonious living environment.
