The Noble of Indiana Board of Directors is proud to announce that Julia Huffman will serve as the organization’s new President and CEO.
A 21-year veteran of Noble, Julia (pictured at right) served as Interim CEO following the departure of former CEO Clint Bolser. Clint left Noble at the end of 2011 to become CEO of Logan Center in South Bend.
Prior to this, Julia has served Noble in a variety of capacities, including Chief Operating Officer, Director of Adult Services and Director of Human Resources.
“We are confident that Julia’s many years of experience and leadership at Noble in all areas of our programs, as well as the expertise and dedication of the Noble Leadership Team and staff, will ensure that the individuals served by Noble continue to receive the high quality of services that Noble is known for,” notes Noble Board Chair Marissa Manlove.
This announcement followed a nationwide search for Clint’s replacement. “Any time there is a change in leadership, it is appropriate to take a moment to assess what is in the best interests of the organization and the people we serve. Therefore, the Noble Board of Directors convened a task force to oversee the selection of Noble’s next leader,” Marissa noted.
“After determining what qualities Noble needs in its next leader and interviewing several candidates, we are very excited to announce the best person for this position is Julia,” she added. Julia is the first woman to lead Noble of Indiana in its 59-year history.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead Noble forward on the strong strategic path we have forged over the past several years. We have a number of exciting initiatives in the works, a long history of success on which to build, and a strong team in place to continue positioning Noble as a leader in providing services for children and adults with disabilities in Central and Eastern Indiana,” Julia said.
