Does your child have autism? Would you know what signs to look for?
According to the Centers for Disease Control, 1 in 68 school-age children has autism spectrum disorder.
It’s called a spectrum disorder because of the wide range of characteristics a person with autism can have. As the saying goes, “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.” Each one is unique, with their own set of gifts, dreams and challenges.
And Noble is here to help. We offer a wide range of therapies and services to meet your child’s needs as well as education and supports for you as the parent.
Take a moment to review this checklist and see if your child may need to be evaluated. And if your child does have autism, it’s important to start therapies and services as early as possible, when a child soaks up information like a sponge.
Regardless of what stage of life your child is in, give us a call at 317-375-2700 or email us if your family needs help.
And during this Autism Awareness Month, be sure to celebrate the many gifts, skills and contributions that people with autism make to our schools, community and workforce each day.
